Spiritual intensity, traditions and expectations, in the Easter night, for the Romanians in Stockholm

 Christian feast of Easter brought for Romanians in Stockholm moments with special significance, in the night of 3 to 4 April 2010, when, from 12:00 to midnight, a special Mass was dedicated to celebrate Jesus Christ's Resurrection, at Assumption Orthodox parish in Bredang district.For hundreds of romanians present this year, the Resurrection has been loaded by the special significance of the traditional procession which marked, symbolically, the road to the place where the cornerstone was laid of what would be the first Romanian church (With the traditional architecture of Maramures area) in Scandinavia and cultural complex that will complement the architectural ensemble.
 Prior to the procession which went through at midnight , for this route, was obtained authorities approval.

After receiving the traditional light at 12 o'clock at night, marking the feast of the Resurrection, hundreds of believers have come, bearing lighted candles, to the place where the Romanian church will be raised. Procession was led by Father George Borca who delivered a moving speech and a spiritual urgeto support this goal of building.
The religious ceremony was continued at Swedish church district Bredang, a space that currently houses the religious activities of a large part of the Romanian community in Stockholm.

 After the procession has surrounded the church symbolically, as tradition says, Easter church service for those present gathered in times of genuine spiritual intensity, being revived traditions preserved by the Romanians settled in Sweden.

 Traditional red eggs, wine and cake - without which it is not imagined Romanian Easter - have confirmed and filled the authenticity of the event.

At the end of the Resurrection, there was a traditional meal, the Christian love feast supported by some community members.
