Important developments for the Romanian architectural ensemble project in Stockholm

The generosity of the Swedish citizens is added along with  Romanian donations

On December 9, 2011 a team of craftsmens arrived in Stockholm (Rev. Ion Pop, and  craftsmens Puicar Pecura Stephen George) from Poienile Izei Maramures, to begin work on the wooden church of the Project X-2008. Craftsmen were harvested 28 fir trees donated by  Rev. Borca’s family.
The Swedish neighbors of Rev. Borca family shown great interest in the project and says that they will be very happy to donate fir trees for wooden church in Maramures county style. Thus, already marked trees on land owned by four families. Others will be marked after the Holy Feasts when artisans will return to continue the work. Each tree was marked by the donor family.
The tree was first surrounded by a ribbon in the colors of the flag of Sweden plus a coin attached to each fir tree.

Each donor family will receive a letter of sponsorship with the names of those who donate, the number of fir trees, length and thickness of trees.
The document will be signed and kept in church history and in the book which will be written, along with document- pictures.
Ribbons with symbolic coins will be attached to the name of each donor.

Swedish families that have marked the trees to be donated to the wooden church are:

A marble inscription, which will be located at the entrance to the first church building with Romanian architecture in Scandinavia, will also specify names of the donors of the trees, from which will raised the place of worship.
The document will be out all data on sponsorship of craftsmens, names of those who have helped with food and physical work in addition to artisans.
