ION MILOŞ published many translations of Romanian literature in Sweden.
Born in 1930, in the Yugoslav Banat, Ion Miloş was educated in Belgrade and Paris (Sorbonne), where he earned a doctorate in letters.
Since 1964 it has been established in Sweden, organizing there exhibitions of fine art and book, tours of theaters and Romanian folk dance bands.
ION MILOŞ is author of over 21 volumes of poetry and 46 translations in and from Romanian, Serbo-Croatian, Macedonian, Swedish.
He translated into Swedish works belonging to Mihai Eminescu, Lucian Blaga, Tudor Arghezi, George Bacovia, Ana Blandiana, Marin Sorescu, Geo Bogza, Cioran, D.R. Popescu, etc.
ION MILOŞ is a missionary of Romanian culture.
