"ROMANIAN Superlatives ", marked the end of February under the logo of Activ Spirit

" ROMANIAN Superlatives " is the motto under which took place Sunday, February 28, in Stockholm, starting at 17.00, the exhibition hall of the Swedish Church Bredäng district, the forum with the same title, part of the timing of actions "Activ Spirit", the youth organization of the Romanian Swedish Cultural Association "Frăţia".
 Theme was supported by the Emanuel Stoica, spokesman for the Active Spirit and proposed a foray into the world of Romanian superlatives, personalities represented in fields of science, art, culture, coming from the Romanian space, offered as authentic values of humanity.
 Names of representative figures, top leaders in various areas such as Emil Cioran, Mircea Eliade, Eugene Ionesco, Henri Coanda, Nadia Comaneci, soprano Angela Gheorghiu, are some examples of outstanding Romanians, true Romanian superlative who won with honor, places in heritage of humanity.

They have been raised with the broader themes of mechanisms that propelled superlatives at a proper place in modern society.
 The topic has generated active participation of those present, constituting a possible premise of a series of conference on this subject.
 " ROMANIAN Superlatives" is the title of a project to promote Romanian authentic values, going on a subsequent blog of official blog of Activ Spirit and constitutes an invitation to know the true value offered by the Romanian to humanity.
So far, at the blog ROMANIAN SUPERLATIVES, http://romaniansuperlatives.blogspot.com/  can be found presentations for more than 40 superlatives in various fields, who started on the path assertion from Romanian cultural and geographical space .
Presentations are in Romanian and English, supplemented by audio and video sequences.

"SUPERLATIVE ROMÂNEŞTI" , a marcat sfârşitul lunii februarie sub sigla Activ Spirit

"SUPERLATIVE ROMÂNEŞTI" este genericul sub care a avut loc duminică 28 februarie, la Stockholm, începând cu ora 17.00, în sala de expoziţii a Bisericii suedeze din cartierul Bredäng , forumul cu acelaşi titlu, parte a calendarului acţiunilor "Activ Spirit", organizaţia de tineret a Asociaţiei Culturale Româno-suedeze Frăţia. Tematica a fost susţinută de Emanuel Stoica, purtătorul de cuvânt al Activ Spirit şi a propus o incursiune în lumea superlativelor româneşti reprezentate de personalităţi din domenii ale ştiinţei, artei, culturii, venind din spaţiul românesc în calitate de valori autentice oferite umanităţii. Numele unor personalităţi care reprezintă vârfuri în diverse domenii, precum Emil Cioran, Mircea Eliade, Eugen Ionesco, Constantin Brâncuşi, Henri Coandă, Nadia Comăneci, soprana Angela Gheorghiu, sunt doar câteva exemple de români remarcabili, adevărate superlative româneşti care au câştigat locuri de cinste în patrimoniul umanităţii şi care au fost evocate în contextul abordarii mai largi a tematicii mecanismelor care propulsează superlativele la locul cuvenit în societate. Subiectul a generat participarea activă celor prezenţi constituind o posibilă premiză a unei serii de expozeuri pe aceeaşi temă.

"SUPERLATIVE ROMÂNEŞTI" este şi titlul unui proiect de promovare a valorilor autentice româneşti, în curs de desfăşurare pe un blog subsecvent blogului oficial al Activ Spirit şi care se constituie într-o invitaţie la cunoaşterea adevăratelor valori oferite de români umanităţii.

Până în prezent, pe blogul ROMANIAN SUPERLATIVES, la adresa http://romaniansuperlatives.blogspot.com/ pot fi găsite prezentările a peste 40 de superlative din diverse domenii şi care au pornit pe calea afirmării din spaţiul cultural şi geografic românesc. Prezentările sunt în limbile română şi engleză, fiind completate de secvenţe audio şi video.

Rumänska kulturinstitutet i samarbete med novemberfilm

När snart sagt varje ny premiär bekräftar bilden av rumänsk films starka position på marknaden ägnar sig 4:e upplagan av Rumänska filmdagar åt livet som spel, med besök av regissörerna Corneliu Porumboiu, Razvan Radulescu och Hanno Hoefer.
  Makt, kärlek, hämnd och motstånd formar allt som oftast ett spänningsfält för spel och intriger: familjen, staten, vanans makt, ärvda traditioner eller möjligheten till ett överväldigande nytt liv. Vad eller vem är det som bestämmer spelets regler och vem är det som säger att vi måste följa dem? Flera toppregissörer ur den nya rumänska filmvågen levererar sina svar under Rumänska filmdagar med livets många spel och lekar som tema.
 Programmet har sammanställts av filmjournalisten Adina Bradeanu som närvarar vid Rumänska filmdagar. Det består dels av filmer som får svensk distribution av novemberfilm (Polis, adjektiv och Skrönor från de gyllene åren) dels av filmer som visas för första gången i Sverige (Katalin Varga och Francesca). Programmet kryddas med två 70-talsklassiker (The Stone Wedding och Reenactment) samt en utsökt överraskning till söndagens filmfrukost. Häng med! Låt spelet börja!

Corneliu Porumboiu, Rumänien, 2009, 115 min. Rumänskt tal, svensk text

Efter sin uppmärksammade 12:08 Öster om Bukarest som utforskade betydelserna av ordet “revolution”, gör Corneliu Porumboiu comeback med en anti-policier som analyserar begreppet “samvete”- och vad det innebär att ha ett. Porumboius småstadspolis letar efter meningen – först i livet, sedan, bokstavligen, i ordboken. Den slutgiltiga meningen blir dock inte den han själv hittar, utan den som han får sig påtvingad av sin överordnade. Process snarare än resultat; stunder av väntan mellan händelser, snarare än händelserna i sig; språkets makt vs det visuellas makt – dessa drag tecknar en tydlig profil av Polis, adjektiv, en film om den meningsfulla rutinen mellan att vänta och att betrakta. Kanske skulle de kalla det minimalism men det finns inget minimalt i en mans tysta strävan att undgå att förstöra någon annans liv.

The Stone Wedding

Dan Pita och Mircea Veroiu, Rumänien, 1972, 90 min. Rumänskt tal, engelsk text

I dag är inspelningsplatsen för The Stone Wedding (Rosia Montana, en glesbygdskommun i västra Transsylvanien) en punkt på den politiska agendan, ett slagfält där ideella föreningar kampanjar mot hänsynslösa cyanidexploateringar av regionens guldtillgångar. Om detta finns inget i den andra filmen i vår retrospektiv av rumänsk film (tillsammans med Reenactment), en ädelsten som med modernistisk känslighet à la Bresson skildrar livets gång i Karpaterna. Två kvinnor, en änka och en brud, står i centrum. Men tänk inte så mycket på handlingen utan lägg istället märke till estetiken i en av de få rumänska filmer från 70-talet som verkligen hörde till tidens europeiska filmvågor. Bildens enkelhet är minnesvärd, liksom den ballad-liknande musiken som ger rytm åt en film där huvudpersonen är livet självt, avbildad genom väsentliga gester: kärlek, arbete, död, överlevnad.

Katalin Varga (vinnare av Silverbjörnen vid Filmfestivalen i Berlin 2009)

Peter Strickland, Rumänien/Storbritannien/Ungern, 2009, 84 min. Ungerskt tal, engelsk text

När hennes man upptäcker att han inte är biologisk far till deras son, bestämmer sig den unga mamman Katalin att det har blivit dags för att ge sig ut på spaning efter pojkens riktige far: den man som våldtagit henne 10 år tidigare. Resultatet blir en arkaisk folksaga i road movie-stil med nyanser av noir och som ständigt skiftar mellan det samtida och det urgamla alltmedan den utforskar gråzonen mellan hämnd och förlåtelse. Placerad i Transsylvaniens frodiga, djupa skogar och mästerligt berättad av en brittisk regissör som tillstår att ”det finns ingen större skillnad på jorden” än den mellan sin egen födelseplats Reading och Karpaterna, påminner denna historia indirekt om Bram Stokers fascination av regionen. Katalin Varga framstår till viss del som ganska udda i relation till den nya rumänska filmvågen, men det utgör ingen grund för att låta denna lågtonade pärla passera osedd, en film som speciellt vinner på Hilda Peters intensiva skådespeleri mot en verklighetsfrämmande bakgrund.

Francesca

Bobby Paunescu, Rumänien, 2009, 94 min. Rumänskt tal, engelsk text

Uppväxt och bosatt i Italien och Rumänien kallar den debuterande regissören Bobby Paunescu sin huvudperson Francesca, efter det italienska skyddshelgonet för invandrare. I en förvirrad och utarmad värld besatt av Italien som ”det förlovade landet” står den 30-åriga förskolelärarinnan i begrepp att uppfylla sin dröm. Men saker och ting går väldigt illa och omprioriteringar görs i sista stund. En gripande historia om hur man fångas av och så småningom faller offer för sina egna drömmar. Uppbackad av Cristi Puiu (Herr Lazarescus död) som producent var Francesca öppningsfilm i Orizzonti-sektionen vid Venedigfestivalen. Filmen orsakade våldsamma reaktioner från den högerextremistiska politikern Alexandra Mussolini som får ett ”ovänligt” omnämnande i en av filmens scener. Mussolini försökte bannlysa filmen från italienska biografer. Ärendet avgjordes i domstol och filmen lanserades i Italien i höstas.

Q&A med Razvan Radulescu

Efter att ha bott hos sina föräldrar i Rumänien i två veckor gör sig Felicia redo att flyga tillbaka till sitt andra hemland Nederländerna. Något går fel på vägen och hon blir istället tvungen att spendera en hel del enerverande tid i sällskap av sin mor. Snart börjar de båda minutiöst analysera den komplexa väv av ömhet, rädsla, skuld och nostalgi som knyter samman deras relation. Som rotlös kvinna, inte riktigt hemma i något av sina två länder och familjer, kämpar Felicia för att behålla sin identitet genom att förtränga spänningarna som hennes utvandrarjag åsamkar henne, samtidigt som hon försöker hålla sin mors förväntningar på avstånd. En diskret skildring av ett melankoliskt maktspel och regidebut av prisbelönte manusförfattaren Razvan Radulescu (Herr Lazarescus död) som envist hävdar att det är själva tiden – och dess påverkan på våra relationer – som är filmens egentliga huvudkaraktär.

Du är en småstadstjej i tonåren. Du har vunnit en bil i en tävling. Nu befinner du dig i huvudstaden en varm sommardag och ska delta i en reklamfilm som tack till bolaget som delade ut priset. Det finns dock ingen anledning till entusiasm: dina föräldrar har redan bestämt sig för att sälja bilen. Långa tagningar, bitter humor och familjetryck i en film som utvecklas till en långdragen making of av en 30-sekunders antireklam för en nation som skyndar att komma ikapp kapitalismen den hårda vägen. Långfilmsdebut för Sundancevinnare Radu Jude (The Tube With a Hat).

Toma Cuzin är en äventyrare som är av uppfattningen att det mest intressanta i livet finns alldeles runt hörnet... Filmen är ett smått ironisk grepp på romantisk fantasi och film som genre, inspirerad av The fabulous destiny of Amelie Poulain, där regissören låter rumänsk minimalism stå tillbaka för en bunt filmiska konstgrepp à la Jean Pierre Jeunet. Resultatet är en manlig variant av Amelie på låg budget, en figur som gillar gammaldags hattar och cigarrer med smultronsmak. En dag...

Reality Won’t Bite

I Jacks värld är det artificiella vardag och känslor inget annat än skådespel: lätt att förstå eftersom han är föreståndare för en musikteater. Kort efter att han begravt sin hund möter Jack en udda man som välter Jacks syn på livet över ända, vilket får stora konsekvenser för hans konstnärliga beslut. En verklighet, en föreställning, en man och hans hund (Nåväl, något däråt…).

The Fall

Tarsem Singh, Indien/Storbritannien/USA, 2006, 117 min. Engelskt tal, svensk text

Der var en gång i 20-talets Los Angeles, en skadad liten flicka vandrar omkring i sjukhussalarna och stöter på en sängliggande Hollywood stuntman med bruten nacke. Han berättar praktfulla historier för henne, och sätter hennes fantasier i brand. Men det finns en mörk baktanke bakom hans spel. Filmen är ett tillfälle till paus från den avsiktligt oglamorösa estetiken i den nya rumänska filmvågen. Njut istället av denna luxuösa episka fantasiberättelse med exotiska bråkmakare, onda tyranner och drömlika palats. Med ett slags visuell fantasi som för tankarna till bl a Terry Gilliam och Guillermo del Toro, spelades prisbelönte Tarsems filmiska berg-och-dalbana in under fyra år och i 20 länder världen runt. Lägg till Lee Paces och rumänska barnskådespelerskan Catinca Untarus utmärkta skådespeleri och du har en utsökt start på din söndag.

Reenactment

Lucian Pintilie, Rumänien, 1968, 100 min. Rumänskt tal, engelsk text

Två unga män tvingas av polisen att ställa upp som skådespelare i en rekonstruering av ett fyllebråk för en undervisningsfilm. Rekonstrueringen driver filmteamet och poliserna till vansinne. Under inspelningen avslöjas inte bara spänningarna mellan folket och maktövarna utan också sprickorna i själva maktsystemet. Filmad i cinema vérité-stil var Reenactment en film som kom att utmana kommuniststatens förtryckande hegemoni och den förblir en av sin tids modigaste östeuropeiska filmer. Det sägs att den nya rumänska filmvågen fick inspiration från Pintilie, en regissör som ofta uppmärksammats av filmveteraner ur sin egen generation inte bara för sin estetik utan även för sitt skarpsinniga moraliska ansvar. Ett av huvudargumenten i Porumboius Polis, adjektiv ligger i kampen mellan samvete och makt. Pintilies Reenactment är ett exempel på en liknande kamp drygt 40 år tidigare.

Livet under Ceausescu var inget att skratta åt, vilket tydligt visar sig i Cristian Mungius Guldpalmvinnare 4 månader, 3 veckor och 2 dagar. Inte desto mindre, humorn var det som räddade rumänerna undan 1980-talets absurdistiska djungel. Den gav upphov till leenden och skratt mitt i all vardaglig överlevnad. Skrönor från de gyllene åren, en collagefilm initierad, samregisserad och producerad av Mungiu, utforskar fem vandringssägner från den tiden – ironiskt kallad “gyllene eran” – som alla vittnar om människors resursfulla förmågor. Varje episod har sin speciella ton, från sanslöst lustiga scener till svart humor präglad av melankoli. Med titlar som ”Legenden om luftförsäljarna” och ”Legenden om kycklingchauffören” mytifierar episoderna en rad olika komiska sammanhang i syfte att visa hur man tar itu med en värld av förtryck med hjälp av lättsinnig existentialism. Förresten, hur slaktar man en gris i en höghuslägenhet utan att väcka grannarna?

O colaborare între Institutul Cultural Român şi novemberfilm

Institutul Cultural Român de la Stockholm, în colaborare cu distribuitorul suedez de film novemberfilm, organizează în perioada 4 – 7 martie la cinematograful Rio din capitala Suediei a patra ediţie a Zilelor Filmului Românesc. Ediţia din acest an poartă denumirea Regulile jocului şi îi are ca invitaţi pe regizorii Corneliu Porumboiu, Răzvan Rădulescu şi Hanno Hoefer.
 Selecţia filmelor a fost realizată de către criticul de film Adina Brădeanu. Programul cuprinde atât filme care vor fi distribuite în Suedia de către novemberfilm – Poliţist, adjectiv şi Amintiri din Epoca de Aur –, cât şi filme care vor fi prezentate publicului suedez în exclusivitate în cadrul festivalului – Francesca şi Katalin Varga. Spectatorii de la Stockholm au ocazia să vizioneze lungmetrajele Felicia, înainte de toate şi Cea mai fericită fată din lume, proiectate la începutul anului la Festivalul Internaţional de Film de la Göteborg. Repertoriul este completat cu două opere clasice ale cinematografiei româneşti, Reconstituirea şi Nunta de piatră, cu scurtmetraje ale tinerilor regizori Paul Negoescu, Vlad Trandafir şi Marius Olteanu, precum şi cu filmul The Fall, având-o drept protagonistă pe micuţa actriţă Catinca Untaru.

 Invitatul suedez al festivalului este jurnalistul de film Roger Wilson, realizatorul emisiunii Kino la principalul post al Radiodifuziunii Suedeze, P1. Acesta va purta o discuţie cu regizorul Corneliu Porumboiu în seara premierei de gală a filmului Poliţist, adjectiv. Adina Brădeanu va discuta cu Răzvan Rădulescu şi cu Hanno Hoefer după proiecţiile lungmetrajelor Felicia, înainte de toate, respectiv Amintiri din Epoca de Aur. În cadrul festivalului va avea loc la Södra Teatern un concert al trupei Nightlosers, al cărei solist este regizorul Hanno Hoefer.

 În continuarea festivalului, ICR Stockholm va organiza la sediul său, pe data de 8 martie, o dezbatere la care vor participa regizorii Răzvan Rădulescu şi Hanno Hoefer, precum şi jurnaliştii de film Adina Brădeanu şi Roger Wilson. Dialogul va cuprinde teme legate de trecutul, prezentul şi perspectivele de viitor ale filmului românesc, subiectele abordate de tinerii regizori şi – cu referire la titlul festivalului – regulile pe care cinematografia contemporană trebuie sau nu să le respecte.

Ziua de 21 februarie 2010 are o însemnătate specială pentru doamna Elena Borca, preşedinta Asociaţiei Culturale Româno- suedeze Frăţia, domnia sa numărând astăzi în buchetul vieţii cea de-a 52-a floare. Cu acest prilej, membrii Asociaţiei Frăţia, şi Activ Spirit, cei care o cunosc pentru dăruirea şi generozitatea cu care se implică în realizarea proiectelor dedicate comunităţii, oamenilor, îi transmit un sincer "LA MULŢI ANI!" şi împliniri alături de cei dragi.

"ACTIVE SPIRIT" travel to Mount Athos with Professor George Cristea

The series of events organized under the name "ACTIV SPIRIT", youth organization of the Romanian-Swedish Cultural Association FRATIA, noted Sunday, February 21 from 17.00, conference on topic "Mount Athos", supported by Professor George Cristea.

Foray into the exotic, mysterious and exclusive world of Mount Athos (a territory for the monks where access for women is forbidden ) has meant a great opportunity for those who attended the conference accompanied by pictures made by Professor George Cristea, to understand in terms of personal experiences of the researcher, the capacities of this space dedicated to spiritual monastic life since the first millennium of Christianity.

Travel in that Greek territory laden with art, history and having a special administrative autonomy was facilitated by the explanations offered masterly storyteller,on the images made by Prof. George Cristea himself, last year, during a trip documentation for a book with the same subject. Prof. George Cristea currently working on volume on Mount Athos to be published in Sweden and Romania. Conference on Mount Athos was held in the conference room of the Swedish Church in Bredäng-Stockholm.

Prof. George Christ has an impressive teaching career, teaching over time at the universities of Bucharest, Algiers and Stockholm .

Călătorie "ACTIV SPIRIT" la Muntele Athos cu Prof. George Cristea

Seria evenimentelor organizate sub sigla "ACTIV SPIRIT", organizaţia de tineret a Asociaţiei Culturale Româno-suedeze Frăţia, a consemnat duminică 21 februarie începând cu ora 17.00, conferinţa cu tema

"Sfantul Munte Athos", susţinută de Dl. prof. George Cristea. Incursiunea în lumea exotică, misterioasă şi exclusivistă a Muntelui Athos(un teritoriu destinat călugărilor şi în care este interzis accesul femeilor) a însemnat un prilej deosebit pentru cei care au asistat la expunerea însoţită de imagini , realizată de domnul profesor George Cristea, pentru a înţelege, prin prisma experienţelor personale ale istoricului, valenţele spirituale ale acestui spaţiu dedicat vieţii monahale încă din primul mileniu al creştinismului. Călătoria în acest teritoriu grecesc încărcat de artă, istorie şi cu o autonomie administrativă specială a fost facilitată de explicaţiile oferite cu măiestrie de povestitor, pe marginea imaginilor realizate de Prof. George Cristea însuşi, în cursul anului trecut, cu prilejul unei călătorii de documentare pentru o carte cu acelaşi subiect.

Prof. George Cristea lucrează în prezent la volumul despre Muntele Athos care va fi publicat în Suedia şi în România.

Conferinţa cu tema Muntele Athos a fost susţinută în Sala de conferinţe a Bisericii suedeze din Bredäng-Stockholm. Prof. George Cristea are o carieră didactică impresionantă, predând de-a lungul timpului la universităţile din Bucureşti, Alger şi Stockholm.

About ACTIV SPIRIT projects and about Romanian traditions in Sweden, on PRO TV International

At the begining of the the new season of the show "For The Soul", on ProTV International, the first edition will be broadcast between Valentines day and romanian "Dragobete" on February 20, discussed among other topics, and concerns about the Romanians in Sweden, about how the Romanian traditions are held here during events as well as some projects ACTIV SPIRIT, youth organization of the Romanian-Swedish Cultural Association FRATIA.

In the show that was recorded recently, spokesman Active Spirit, Emanuel Stoica, offered some details about the on line projects of youth associations, TV show presenter Anelise Salan is interested mainly in Romanian Superlatives Project but also in Active Perspectives XXI project, on which appears to be discussing in the one future show of the TV station Pro TV International.

A Martisor to build the first Romanian church in Stockholm

 Martisor is a small ornaments tied to a cord woven out of white and one red wire, which is in the tradition of Romanian and neighboring populations. Women and girls receive Martisor and wear them during the month of March, as a sign of the arrival of spring
 300 of those small ornaments are available to those who want to preserve this beautiful Romanian tradition in the Scandinavian land.
 Ms. Liliana Ocheana from Stockholm expressed the wish that through their sale to make a donation in support of the Romanian church building in Stockholm.
 Those small traditional signs of spring can be purchased through the Romanian-Swedish Cultural Association Fellowship, following the sale, half the price to be donated to build the first Romanian church in the capital of Sweden
 The price of each Martisor is 10 kronor .
 Each Martisor sold means 5 crowns for the church but it is also an important moment of retrieving identity and traditions of the Romanian soul sensibility in Scandinavia

Un mărţişor pentru construirea primei biserici româneşti din Stockholm

 300 de mărţişoare se află, de curând, la dispoziţia celor care doresc să păstreze această frumoasă tradiţie românească pe meleagurile scandinave.
 Doamna Liliana Ocheană din Stockholm şi-a exprimat dorinţa ca prin vânzarea lor să facă o donaţie în sprijinul construirii bisericii româneşti din Stockholm. Mărţişoarele pot fi achiziţionate prin intermediul Asociaţiei Culturale Româno- suedeze Frăţia, urmând ca din vânzarea acestor mărţişoare, jumătate din preţ să fie donat pentru construirea primei biserici româneşti din capitala Suediei.
 Numărul mărţişoarelor destinate acestui scop este deocamdată limitat la 300 iar preţul unui mărţişor este de 10 coroane suedeze. Fiecare mărţişor vândut înseamnă 5 coroane pentru biserică dar în acelaşi timp reprezintă un moment important de regăsire a identităţii, sensibilităţii şi tradiţiilor de suflet românesc în Scandinavia.

Campanie în sprijinul ridicării primei biserici româneşti din Stockholm

 Asociaţia Culturală Româno-suedeză "Frăţia" demarează o campanie de sprijinire a proiectului ridicării primei biserici româneşti la Stockholm.
 Această campanie este destinată obţinerii sprijinului necesar unui împrumut bancar pentru finanţarea lucrărilor de construcţie. Mărimea sumei care va fi acordată de bancă depinde şi de suma cu care va fi sprijinit proiectul, prin donaţii, pe parcursul a cel puţin un an. În acest sens, Asociaţia Culturală Româno-suedeză "Frăţia" face un apel către toţi românii de suflet pentru a sprijini financiar acest demers. Este primul demers de acest fel iniţiat de o comunitate românească într-o capitală din vestul Europei.

 Proiectul este important atât pentru comunitatea românilor din Suedia, Stockholm, cât şi pentru toţi conaţionalii noştri, având un potenţial extrem de important pentru promovarea spiritualităţii şi a imaginii românilor în lume.

 Campania îşi propune să mobilizeze tot românul de suflet în scopul realizării acestui obiectiv important, pe parcursul a cel puţin un an, începând cu luna februarie 2010.

 Suma minimă cu care se poate contribui în sprijinul primei biserici româneşti din Stockholm este de 100 de coroane suedeze lunar şi care trebuie depusă în contul Asociaţiei Culturală Româno-suedeză "Frăţia" ,

 destinat proiectului, până în data de 27 a fiecărei luni, timp de un an de zile, începând cu luna în care faceţi prima depunere, cu specificaţia "DONAŢIE PENTRU RIDICAREA BISERICII".
 Asociaţia Culturală Româno-suedeză "Frăţia" a demarat proiectul şi achită astfel toate costurile lucrării.
 În "Cartea de Aur" a Bisericii şi a complexului care va deveni Centru Ecumenic în una din cele mai importante capitale europene vor figura numele tuturor ctitorilor care au contribuit la ridicarea acestui edificiu ce se doreşte o dovadă vie în lumea scandinavă şi în Europa a vitalităţii, vredniciei românilor şi a autenticelor valori milenare care i-au ajutat, încă odată, să construiască şi în vremuri de restrişte. Acest document va fi păstrat la loc de cinste, spre veşnică pomenire şi aducere aminte generaţiilor viitoare despre demnitatea de a fi român, pentru care s-au sacrificat românii de pretutindeni şi cei ajunşi în Scandinavia, la începutul acestui mileniu aducător de mult zbucium şi al unei pribegii de o dimensiune fără precedent în istoria poporului nostru.

 Sprijiniţi ridicarea primei biserici româneşti din Stockholm! Faceţi o faptă bună pentru sufletul dumneavoastră şi pentru prima biserică românească din Scandinavia!

An interesting evocation of the important historical moments and personalities from 1859 to 1927 and events related to union Romania took place Sunday 24 january 2010, at Bredang-Stockholm, according to the program activities "ACTIV SPIRIT".

"1859-1927: From feudal  Romanian province to united and modern Romania " theme was supported by history teacher, Florin Alexandru Danila.

Lecture supported by Florin Alexander Danila had the capacity to highlight some new aspects related to one of the most favorable periods for historically Romanian unit and transformation to modernizing the country only up by joining the Romanian principalities.

The event held in Stockholm from 16.30 in the conference room of the Swedish church located near the metro station Bredang district, was honored by the presence of Ms Ruxandra Lupan, cultural attaché of the Romanian Embassy in Stockholm.

Historical debates organized by ACTIV SPIRIT confirms once again, in Stockholm, the emergence of special moments emphasizing the authentic Romanian feelings in a time where there are often perceptions referring to superficial perceptions about such events.

Of course, quality of presentations made by the licensee in history - political science from the University of Alba Iulia, have an important role in positive perceptions of the events of this type carried out under the name of "ACTIV SPIRIT" .

O interesantă evocare a importantelor momente istorice de la 1859 şi a personalităţilor şi evenimentelor până la 1927, legate de unirea românilor a avut loc duminică 24 ianuaie 2010 , la Bredang-Stockholm, conform programului activităţilor ACTIV SPIRIT.

 "1859-1927: De la provinciile româneşti feudale la o Românie unită si modernă" a fost tematica susţinută de către profesorul de istorie originar din Alba Iulia, Florin Alexandru Dănilă. Prelegerea susţinută de Florin Alexandru Dănilă a avut calitatea de a evidenţia unele aspecte inedite legate de una dintre perioadele cele mai favorabile din punct de vedere istoric pentru unitatea românilor precum şi pentru transformarea în sensul modernizării ţării abia constituite prin unirea Principatelor Române.

  Evenimentul care a avut loc la Stockholm începând cu ora 16.30, în sala de conferinţe a bisericii suedeze situată în vecinătatea staţiei de metrou din cartierul Bredang, a fost onorat şi de prezenţa doamnei Ruxandra Lupan, ataşat cultural al Ambasadei României la Stockholm. Dezbaterile pe teme istorice organizate de ACTIV SPIRIT confirmă şi de această dată, la Stockholm, apariţia unor momente deosebite de reliefare a trăirilor româneşti autentice într-un moment în care există, de multe ori, percepţii care fac trimitere la superficialitate în legătură cu astfel de manifestări .

 Desigur, calitatea prezentărilor realizate de licenţiatul în istorie - ştiinţe politice al Universităţii din Alba Iulia, a avut un rol important în percepţia pozitivă a evenimentelor de acest tip realizate sub sigla ACTIV SPIRIT.

January 24, Romanian historical evocation in Stockholm

 Series of actions organized by Active Spirit, youth organization of the Romanian-Swedish Cultural Association Brotherhood, continue to propose new topics of interest related to Romanian history.
 The newest of these events is planned for Sunday, January 24, 2010 and will be supported by history teacher originating in Alba Iulia, Florin Alexandru Danila.
 "1859-1927: From feudal Romanian provinces to a united and modern Romania" is the theme chosen for the conference to be held on this occasion by Florin Danila.

 Of the reasons which led it to choose the topic to be presented at this time, Florin Alexandru Danila said:.
 "Why I chose this subject for submission of January 24?
 Not only for the symbolism of this day, but mainly because my personal view, I repeat ... my personal view, is that the achievements Romanian nation had in those times are far from our contemporary inimaginable, negligent, indifferent and selfish.
 Achievements wich made Romania a democratic state tru the constitutions of that period, its leaders and leaders of the Romanian political parties, but especially the dedication and sacrifice that has really shown the population of these regions, those Romanians whom we see only in pictures or we hear about, in the old stories from books or in the media. "
 Alexandru Florin Danila is 29 years and graduated in history-political science from the University "1 December 1918" of Alba Iulia.
 Conferences on historical themes supported by Florin Alexandru Danila far, in Stockholm in ACTIV SPIRIT actions have been a real success among those present, especially the way the audience involved in discussion topics presented.

Stockholm - Evocare istorică românească pentru Mica Unire

Seria acţiunilor organizate de "Activ Spirit", organizaţia de Tineret a Asociaţiei Culturale Româno-suedeze Frăţia, continuă să propună noi subiecte de interes legate de istoria românilor. Cel mai nou dintre aceste evenimente este programat a avea loc duminică 24 ianuarie 2010 şi va fi susţinut de către profesorul de istorie originar din Alba Iulia, Florin Alexandru Dănilă. "1859-1927: De la provinciile româneşti feudale la o Românie unită si modernă" este tematica aleasă pentru conferinţa care va fi susţinută cu acest prilej de către Florin Dănilă.
 În legătură cu motivele care l-au determinat să aleagă acest subiect pentru a fi prezentat la această dată, Florin Alexandru Dănilă a precizat:
"De ce am ales această temă pentru prezentarea din data de 24 ianuarie? Nu numai pentru simbolistica acestei zile, ci în primul rând deoarece părerea mea personală, repet... personală, este că realizările pe care le-a avut naţiunea română în acele timpuri sunt mult peste imaginabilul nostru contemporan şi delăsător, indiferent şi egoist... Realizări care au făcut din România un stat DEMOCRATIC prin constituţiile din această perioadă, prin conducătorii săi şi liderii partidelor politice româneşti, dar în special prin dăruirea şi cu adevărat sacrificiul de care a dat dovadă populaţia acestor meleaguri, acei români pe care îi vezi doar în poze sau de care auzi în poveştile bătrânilor, din cărţi sau din mass-media."

 Florin Alexandru Dănilă are 29 de ani şi este licenţiat în istorie-ştiinţe politice al Universităţii „1 Decembrie 1919“ din Alba Iulia.
 Conferinţele pe teme istorice susţinute de Florin Alexandru Dănilă până în prezent, la Stockholm, în cadrul acţiunilor ACTIV SPIRIT, s-au bucurat de un real succes în rândul celor prezenţi, mai ales prin felul în care audienţa s-a implicat în dezbaterea subiectelor prezentate.

In Sweden, rules available now for Romanians are same rules available for all EU citizens.

Sunday, January 17, 2010, there was an Activ SPIRIT activity in which, at the request of Mrs. Elena Borca, president of the Romanian-Swedish Cultural Association FRATIA, was present Mrs. Adina Trunk , Est Europe Program Manager  - Christian Democratic International Center (KIC).

Ms. Adina Trunk was kind enough to provide some details about the issue of integration in Sweden, on which subject was previously documented for this particular activity, indicating that the information provided is general.

The event was held in Stockholm in the Swedish church conference room Bredang district, where is developed missionary activity of the Romanian Orthodox church dedicated to the Assumption-priest George Borca.

The subject of integration in Sweden is almost inexhaustible and is clearly more comprehensive than what we set out below.

It is however important to point out that the material data are indicative and not to have proposed to give definitive answers to many questions and problems that arise in life everyone seeks to live, work, match in Sweden .

For those who are less familiar with the realities of Sweden, we specify that rules, in this country do not involve any bargaining.

This is the meaning to be interpreted - information about situations faced by those who want to integrate into the Swedish society.

Theme has revealed a particular involvement of those present and the formula that will reproduce the information is a summary which has the form of a virtual interview in which questions are asked by all participants.

Clarifications made at the start of the meeting by Ms Adina Trunk contain themselves interesting information for theme.

We specify that these informations are NOT an incentive or encouragement to emigrate to Sweden.


Adina Trunk:

I Do not dwell on these issues every day but I was interested very much because when Mrs. Elena Borca called , she presented some cases of some Romanian that I have seemed quite shocking... They came here and They were promised to receive a job.This job has not been given because, ultimately, they did dot haved the personal identification number needed.


To obtain the personal identification number they needed a residence permit .The residence permit is not given until you have a job .


So there is a dilemma and a point where a man, however much it tries, can not receive data, documents, so that actually became a member of society.

The problem was not so much that they could not work but that the owner of bussines would have said - "Not having personal number you can not open bank account, I can not pay you, you can not pay taxes so you should suppose to be hired illegal '


In Sweden, employers in general and people are less willing than others to engage people illegal.


Such a thing can not be said that there is not happening at all, but overall, the Swedes will be fair and legal to employ people, somehow thinking maybe a selfless way, because in Sweden very much think that this is important not so much for them as employers but for that man that he should receive a pension, income support, to be a true member of society.I began looking for the truth that there seems to be possible in dozens of versions.

Not sure if I found that one really true, but, speaking with several people, apparently still is confirmed as I noticed that there are problems today. I talked primarily with people from the Office of Migration - Migrationsverket .


You will face at some point with these words that if you are not familiar, will become.This entity - Migrationsverket - is linked to the government, so there is not a private entity, and deals with all issues having to do with emigration in Sweden, including those who come here seeking asylum, etc.


I was pointed out that there seems to be new rules for Romanian citizens from January 1.


All those I talked to, said they have not heard something like that would be new rules for Romanians. The only thing they said is that the rules available now for Romanians are same rules available for all EU citizens.


So, there is not a special rule for Romanian citizens.


- What would be the rules?

Adina Trunk:

- These rules seem to be applicable in all EU countries, except for countries that have special restrictions for Romania, such as the United Kingdom, for example.


As a European citizen, therefore, as a Romanian citizen, you may live in Sweden and to stay here for three months without anyone aske you to present any document or evidence that you have money with which to support youreself, or that you find here, relatives , work, school, etc.


So, for three months, anyone, do not ask you anything.


After these three months, or after six months - if you can show that you actively seek work or someone promises you a job - have to go back to Migrationsverket for them to register in their system and get your free license residence,that, UPEHOLTISTON but should be proved that you are looking for a job, or that you are having a job or that you are studying, that you are enrolled in a school.


With the residence permit, you can get all the social benefits that any Swedish citizen have: support for rent, if it is too high, support for. children, etc.. Temporary residence permit you can do to have almost the same rights as any Swedish citizen. But, if for three months did not find a job, you are not enrolled in any school, you can not prove that you actively looking for jobs, then they can not give you the residence permit, this permit can not be be extended.

- How to mark the beginning of those three months, because no longer put stamps in the passport of EU citizens?

Adina Trunk:

- You are asked, perhaps, at first, when you entered the country and if you can show a ticket.

- If you not have this ticket?

Adina Trunk:

-Then, eventually, they believe the word. On the other hand, may be taken into account the initial statement on arrival, included in the application for personal number. There is one detail which is very important to know .The person with whom I discussed the Migrationsverket told me this: If for three months you can not prove that you have a job or are not enrolled in school and you can not show that you will get a job in the following weeks, then what do is to go outside Sweden, even if it would be a short trip in Denmark.

So, should not go far and wide, just to cross the bridge to Denmark to see that you left the country and you come back.If you dont want to stay a night in a hotel in Copenhagen, you can return the same day and have the ticket.If you believe a person with whom I spoke, it is clear that there are not new rules.

To recapitulate:


Three months without any question, after three months of days, went back to Migrationsverket and proved that there is a job, a promise, or that is actively seeking a job - as you have been to several interviews that you have been to several employers, or that there is a school .


On this basis can receive the residence permit. With this UPEHOLTISTON, if you happen to lose your job you need to receive aid for housing and other kinds of help, you may receive this support from the Swedish cownty where you live.


The rules for such aid, how to give, as soon as you receive it, depend on each community. Stockholm is different from Goteborg, Malmo, etc..

The second major player in this is Skateverket, dealing this record wich is very important for all citizens of Sweden, recording the number of personal identity.


It is composed of date of birth plus four numbers. These records or personal number is the most important thing. It is perhaps the most important number in Sweden, more important than youre phone number. But to get that personal identity number, you must have a residence permit. This means that you must have either a job or go to school or to have a promise of employment.  The problem is that without this personnummer you can not open a bank account, which means that even if someone wants to hire you, can not do it because you can not pay the money, legally, can not pay taxes. I understand that there are happy cases when they received the ID number with no evidence of school, work, etc. It is a good thing, but apparently not correct, those people were lucky.

It is better to be happy that you made this personal number without having made that evidence, than to come here and think that is obtained so easily and then wake up with problems.Accurate information is most important even if at first seem more difficult and disappointing.


I asked, how can such a thing, does not bind, such citizen can not receive any job or personal number ... Then, there is something that resembles personnummer and called Samordningsnummer. This Samordningsnummer you can not just ask for him.


But, if you can prove that you are about to get a job or that you need that number, but you have not yet given proof of employment, then, as an institution, Skateverket isallowed to say ok, we can ask citizen working with your documents to receive an order to give you this Samordningsnummer.

- What is the difference?

Adina Trunk

Personnummer comprises born day plus four digits. These four figures say if you came from another country, if you are a man or woman, in what part of Sweden you are. This is similar but Samordningsnummer have born date number plus the number 60. So if someone is born on March 6 , last figure is 66.


With this Samordningsnummer can open a bank account and with that resolve many. Having a bank account you can pay rent, etc.


This account is very important in Sweden, without it you can do almost anything.


If you have not a chance to get personnummer you may receive this Samordningsnummer which is provisional, during which they feel that you need. With Samordningsnummer, you can go to the bank and open the account. There must be someone to prove identity, to confirm, because only then can you get from Skateverket evidence that, indeed, the name corresponds with a personal number.


In Sweden, a passport is not considered as part of identity, but this ID - Kurt that now is released from police before he was released in several places.


Upeholtilston is the residence permit. There is a residence permit as such that you can get him on the steps I listed above. After five years of stay here, you can get permanent residence permit. If you stay in Sweden five years and have paid taxes can receive a permanent residence permit. After five years allowed to vote nationally . Citizenship problem is a different o. If someone wants that, after five years of stay here, you can start the formalities for obtaining citizenship.

- There are recipes for success in Sweden?

Adina Trunk:

- Success is something very subjective. For some it means to have a quiet life, and have an apartment in which to be able pay their debts.


If success is to have a calm life in which money is not a major problem, if this is the recipe of success we're talking about, plus integration into Swedish society, I think the recipe for success is to leave behind you what you know from the country in which`you left, not necessarily to forget what you learned there, but to keep an open mind for the Swedish society values, to be open to learn, to accept the good and bad things. You chose to live here. The key to integration into Swedish society is language but also the willingness to adapt to life style in here.


Swedes, however open, still want people to interact as they used.Contact with the Swedes, not only with other nationalities here, is very important. There are many social rules that are not written anywhere and to be learned.


Learning the language means a huge effort and may be the greatest effort to be made to integrate into Swedish society.


One does not expect a newcomer to speak perfect Swedish . If you have a chance to speak one language and English, is easyer to integrate. Language is very important. There are free courses for those who have received the residence permit, which is called SFI (Svenska For Invandrare), Swedish for immigrants.It depends where you are, these courses may be more or less good.

- It is recognized diplomas obtained elsewhere?

Adina Trunk:

- Yes, more than this, can be found at SFI, courses taken for the specialized language . For trades, too.


For many, employment is one of the best ways to have an income at first. However, it is not a good solution. It's better practice, from which to show that you're looking work, than undeclared work.Practice is very important. You go to Arbetsförmedlingen institution in charge of hiring and tell them that you have experience in a field and you need practice. Or, there are companies dealing with certain areas. One can ask, can practice on your own, limited speaking Swedish? I worked for a while, I have a similar experience and I want to start a new life in Sweden. Have all explained very frankly.


For those with children, one thing to know is that the company does not pay for child care vacation or for practice .Many are reluctant to use this as believing that the company pays. This is paid by social insurance.


Regarding bringing other family members, it seems that from April 1, 2010, to bring the family must prove that you have a job or income maintenance.

- When and how we should live and not live in Sweden?

Adina Trunk

- The ideal situation would be? As a person who comes to Sweden to be well informed about what it means to live in Sweden.Very well to do research as far as possible that exist for each . To contact the people living in Sweden and to explain what exactly is the situation , to think, I have a profession, to look on the internet, there are companies who work in this area, that even have an idea about the situation in the coming.If you live and not know anybody, you have a job, he'll be very difficult. A lot of people here spending money saved, go back to the country disillusioned.


Most studying the country where they would leave is important to be made before coming here.


Have to be studied the possibility of going to interviews at some firms, potential employers, before coming here.


It depends on what field you are, you can find a job in Sweden, speaking only English. In many areas having to do with manual work, often you get to speak English.


You have to make yourself understood, this is the idea. For some work, have to communicate. It is a good idea to put the Swedish up before you leave the country.


There is not a situation where you can go door to door. First, the Swedes are reluctant to hire someone whose culture, language, do not know and do not understand.


Romanians - Few who live here. For some, Romania means an interesting, positive, but for others also means problems. You have to put up a good CV to get a job. This CV must be ordered, made by the book. There must be at least two people to recommend you, to work in that area. You can send them by mail or Internet. After a week or two may call for confirmation and be asked if it appropriate to present at an interview. There are sometimes discrimination based on name. Now, increasingly, more jobs applications are anonymous. Arbetsförmedlingen is a site where you can find all the jobs, in fields. It is a source of information on the subject.There are also private companies working in temporary employment for some firms.

- How important are the recommendations and supporting documents?

Adina Trunk:

- The recommendations are very important but most important is personal contact. If someone sees you as an individual are serious, do not ask for the moon and want to work, gives you a chance.It is very important to get to that interview, no interview is more difficult. Again, the recommendation is important from someone who stays here for a long time and speaks Swedish. Recommendations are good as long as those who gave their recommendation can be contacted by phone.
